Meet With Our Mission
Whether it’s a for-profit or non-profit project, we work to create sustainable programmes and enterprises that improve the lives of rural populations and contribute to building more just and inclusive communities.
Our main goals are:
To alleviate poverty by addressing basic services gaps and uncovering new markets for sustainable commerce.
To improve education in order to empower citizens to take control of their lives, obtain better-paying employment and partake in civic society.
To ensure that those in unreached and underserved communities have access to information, services and tools that can improve their health and overall living conditions.
We invest in people for the long term. The programmes and enterprises we help bring to life are designed to be handed over to an organisation or a community task force when mature.
VISION
We believe that rural India can become a place of opportunity and prosperity. While largely ignored by an increasingly urbanised society, rural communities have great potential to develop into economically sustainable, progressive National Career Development.
We believe that holistic development can be achieved only through collective efforts and effective planning, with economic viability and education as base criteria.
The Way Forward
Following the successful conclusion of this first phase of activities, the Rashtiya Rozgar Mission Initiative intends to take forward their findings, and leverage the unique global base of knowledge and network that we have assembled, to pursue the linked goals of universal energy access and rural development. Working through a newly established non-profit company, Rashtiya Rozgar Mission Research Group ltd, and our registered charity The Rashtiya Rozgar Mission Foundation we intend to focus on:
Facilitating the establishment, with local partners where appropriate, of pilot Rashtiya Rozgar Mission and Rashtiya Rozgar Mission solutions around the world to act as examples of the concept and provide a base for demonstrating the sustainable impact of this holistic and sustainable rural development approach.
Facilitating the establishment, with local partners where appropriate, of pilot “Rashtiya Rozgar Mission” and Rashtiya Rozgar Mission solutions around the world to act as examples of the concept and provide a base for demonstrating the sustainable impact of this holistic and sustainable rural development approach.
Working with research partners around the world to evidence the impact of the holistic “Rashtiya Rozgar Mission” development model, through baseline studies and long-term impact assessment across multiple development metrics, across multiple SDGs.
Developing and testing innovative technologies that can help deliver some of these integrated development objectives – for example innovative agricultural technology, cold storage, ICT access, remote education and telemedicine.
Run projects and consult and advise on energy access and holistic models of rural development, harnessing the wealth of information and the experience we have assembled through our global network during the course of the past 7 years.
